Breeze Birthing offers empowering Hypnobirthing Antenatal Classes, to provide a special toolkit and techniques for pregnancy, birth and beyond. There is also the option to have Birth Doula Support which is proven to be key in helping to ensure your birth goes as smoothly as planned. Babies also benefit from this positive preparation, and really enjoy it! Following their birth, they are generally much calmer and content and because of this they could feed and sleep better. They can also typically have higher APGAR scores.

Hypnobirthing significantly reduces:

  • the need for medical pain relief

  • time in labour

  • the need for Intervention, such as forceps, ventouse and caesarean.

  • the need for medical care for your baby following birth

  • the risk of postnatal depression

Hypnobirthing will help:

  • you to feel energised during labour, birth and after the birth of your baby

Pregnancy Yoga

Joanna from MamaBabyBliss is now offering her very popular Pregnancy Yoga & Relaxation Classes every Thursday evening at The Courtyard Centre.

This class is a great way to continue some gentle exercise during pregnancy and stay relaxed …. you’ll learn lots of techniques to help you through your pregnancy and birth and meet other mums-to-be in your area. The class is suitable for all stages of pregnancy from 14 weeks onwards. The sessions are 7.45pm to 9pm on Thursdays and cost £40 for a block of 5 classes.

Baby Yoga (8 wks - crawling)

…. helps to develop your baby’s neural development, sensory motor skills, balance and co-ordination. It is also wonderful for soothing babies and can help with sleep, wind and colic. Each week you will learn a series of baby yoga moves that are fun to do with lovely songs to entertain and stimulate your baby.  The classes also include gentle postnatal stretches for mums, plus there is a lovely relaxation phase at the end of each class! Suitable from 8 weeks old.

Baby Massage (birth - crawling)

….. a wonderful activity for you and your baby. These relaxing classes allow you to enjoy some precious quiet time with your baby as you learn a head-to-toe baby massage routine which helps to develop your baby’s digestive, immune, circulatory and nervous systems, soothes wind, constipation and colic, and encourages babies to sleep. There are also weekly discussions on a variety of parenting topics. Suitable from birth.

The classes are also a great way to make new friends. All equipment is provided including mats, towels, cushions, massage oil and toys, plus refreshments for parents so that all you need to bring each week is yourselves, changing items and milk/water for your baby.

Detailed illustrated hand-outs to support the yoga and massage routines are also provided.
