Why Choose Nutritional Therapy?

Many common health conditions occur such as digestive problems, headaches and low energy/lethargy due to unbalanced diets and stressful living.

So how does Nutrition Therapy work?

As a nutritionist I look at what is causing the symptoms of ill health by assessing a health questionnaire on a person's medical history, diet and body system health. This information is then discussed in a 1-hour consultation to provide a personal nutrition plan with dietary recommendations and supplements if required to suit your lifestyle. Follow up consultations maybe required for people with many health issues. Most people respond well in the first month.

Food intolerance testing now available with results on the day.

About Judy Watson

I have been a nutritional therapist for 14 years. For the last 12 years I have been a consultant for Champneys Health Resorts. My interest in Nutrition developed from a childhood of eating healthy fresh food on my parent's farm.  Since then I have added more variety to my diet i.e. pulses, rice and nuts while reducing wheat and dairy which has helped me manage my weight now that I am approaching 50.  I have had many challenges over the years including supporting World Vision in their 24hr fast in 2003 to helping a cyclist complete the Race across America (RAAM) 2007. I spent 1 year (2006) writing a health column for "Real People" magazine. I am now a contributory author for the online health website watchfit.com, you can find direct links to my articles on Facebook and Twitter. I have provided technical advice for magazines such as "Woman's Own", "Prima" & "Yours". I am also a guest contributory author for "The Optimum Nutrition Magazine."

Nutritional therapy helps people of all ages. In particular digestive problems such as IBS and fatigue often respond well. While many people are desperately going on diets I help provide personal programmes that suit people according to their lifestyle and age.

I was awarded a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition and Food Scienece in 1996.

Then in 2000 I was awarded DipION from the institute of Optimum Nutrition.

I am a member of the British Association of Applied and Nutritional Therapists (BANT).

I am also registered with the Complimentary Natural Health Council (CNHC).

I have helped over 4000 people with 1-1 consultations including food intolerance testing and vitamin and mineral checks.
